“the AI buildout is the disproportionate percentage of all GDP. It is basically all of it”
Claim: The AI buildout accounts for basically all US economic growth.
Evidence. ING estimates AI-related tech investment accounted for about a third of US GDP growth in 2026 (36% on its preferred measure, up to about 50% on the broadest). That is a large, disproportionate share, but well short of 'basically all of it'.
Re-rated: AI is about a third to a half of US growth, so the point (economy heavily levered to AI) stands; 'basically all of it' is a figure of speech.
